New Sermon Series at LCC.
From April 27th we begin a new sermon series at LCC. The three letters of John. Why not read ahead?
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—”
Echoes the prologue of John’s Gospel, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Which in turns echoes Genesis, In the beginning..
But unlike Genesis, it is not the creation of the world that is in view, but the beginning of the gospel, including the ministry of Christ, and its proclamation by His witnesses.
Jesus, for all who trust in His work, is the new beginning and with no end – eternal life!
